A new international top distinction for Alpha Estate, from the recent review posted at Jancis Robinson’s MW OBE web site.
The review gave to Alpha Estate White Sauvignon Blanc 2010 17 points, the highest review to any white Greek tank fermented wine of the same vintage.
The review describes the wine as: ‘’Very pale. Clean, bright lemon and grapefruit with a slaty core. Intense, quite dense, elegant, cool-climate style.
Tight and sinewy but still has generous fruit in the middle. (JH)’’
